Class details

    Color Blending:

        Objective:  You create your own blend of colors with our carding machine.

        Class hours:  12 noon - 5pm.

        Cost:  $30 covers instruction by Amy Wolf and one pound of your blend.

    Drop Spindle Class:

        Objective: You build your own spindle to understand balance issues in spinning.

        Class hours:  1pm - 2:30pm

        Cost:  $20 includes instruction by Eileen Vanbronkhorst,  materials to complete your spindle 

                    and wool to spin.

    Self-Striping Yarn Class:

        Objective: You create your own self-striping yarn using an Elhai yarn wrapping board which ensures

                        the orderly and accurate winding of the yarn.   You will use Jacquard acid dyes to create solid

                       and "Fair Isle" stripes. 

        Class hours:  1pm - 4pm

        Cost:  $45 covers instruction by Pat Pietsch and Kathleen Wright, an Elhai board, enough yarn to make a

                  scarf, a hat, mittens or socks.

Other Activities:

Custom shearing of fleeces of your choice.

Apple cider press to make cider from your apples.

Bring your wheel and spin and visit.
